Fee Rewards Explained

How Semester Fee Rewards Are Calculated

The exact mechanics behind a StudyFiX reward — what's checked, when, and how the amount is determined. No fine print buried elsewhere.

The two things that get checked

Every semester, two academic factors decide whether a reward is unlocked:

  1. CGPA — your cumulative grade point average for that semester, as reported on your official marksheet.
  2. Attendance — your recorded attendance percentage for the same period.

Both are checked together. Meeting the CGPA requirement while falling short on attendance (or the reverse) doesn't unlock that semester's reward — the plan is built around consistency across both, not just exam performance.

How verification works

You upload your semester documents — marksheet and attendance record — through your dashboard. These go through StudyFiX's AI-powered verification layer, which checks the documents for authenticity and cross-references the figures against what's required for your specific plan. This is the same verification pipeline used across the platform for other document-linked features, not a separate manual process.

Once verification clears, the reward is credited to your StudyFiX Wallet — typically within 48 hours.

A worked example

To make this concrete, here's an illustrative example. The exact numbers depend on your college's fee structure and your specific plan — treat this as a shape, not a quote.

ItemIllustrative value
Semester fee paid₹60,000
CGPA requirement metYes
Attendance requirement metYes
Reward rate for this planUp to 30%
Reward credited to walletUp to ₹18,000
This table is illustrative only. Actual reward percentage, eligibility thresholds, and payout timing depend on the plan you activate and your college's fee structure — check your dashboard for your specific terms rather than relying on any number here.

What happens if you fall short in one semester

If a semester's CGPA or attendance requirement isn't met, that semester's reward is withheld — it doesn't get carried over or added later. It also doesn't cancel your plan. If you clear your backlogs and meet the requirements in the following semester, that semester's reward remains active as normal. A full graduation-level payout, where applicable, unlocks only on successful completion of the full degree.

Why "reward," not "refund" or "insurance"

This is worth being precise about: a StudyFiX reward is not a refund of fees you're owed, and it isn't an insurance payout tied to an unfortunate event. It's a discretionary, performance-linked credit — you earn it through consistent academic results, under the terms of the specific plan you activate, the same way a company might reward performance with a bonus.
